We got the best news this morning, there is a chance that our precious twinkies will be heading home next week. They are both doing better with their apnea spells and Caden has been moved to 5 bottle feedings a day and Linley 4 bottle feedings a day. They also get to take a bottle after every breast feeding rather than a tube feeding which is great progress since it means they are big enough now to spend the energy to breast feed and bottle feed all in one sitting! Looks like miss Linley is catching up to her brother in the weight department, she is 5 lbs 3 oz and he is 5 lbs 6 oz. The nurse practitioner said she wouldn't be at all surprised to see them go home in the 7 - 10 days.
Friday and Sunday will be our first opportunities to bathe them, hopefully we will get pictures that you can see.

Oh my gosh I love it!!!! They are so so very precious!!
So sweet. I do think they recognize each other - she was the first person he ever saw!! And it sure looks like they are chunking up which is wonderful! Hope they get to go home soon.
Oh my goodness! That is the sweetest thing I have ever seen! They are too adorable. I will keep my fingers crossed they get to come home next week! Great news. We will bring yall dinner one night :)
