We are having a ____ and a _____...

So, we had our 2nd ultrasound today and our perinatalist gave us his estimate on the sex... he is 90% certain that baby A is a BOY!!! And with 90% certaintly that baby B is a GIRL!!!! Now, at our next ultrasound in 3 weeks (one of the pluses about having twins is that you get lots of ultrasounds) they will be able to tell us with 100% certainty!!!

Baby A (the boy) - 62.4 mm with a heartbeat of 157

Baby A (the boy) profile - I think he looks like Trip!

Snow storm...

I barely made it home last night from Oklahoma City, Tia & Buzz almost had a house guest for the evening! All of the American flights from OKC to DFW were cancelled, luckily, I made it in on the last Southwest flight from OKC to Dallas Love before they cancelled the remaining outbound flights to Dallas.

Here are a few pics from the snow storm of 2010... 12.5 inches of snow, record snow fall for Dallas!

Our snow puppy loves playing in the snow... although, you can hardly see her traipsign around in it... last night, she got stuck. Her little legs wouldn't propel her over the snow drifts, Trip had to save her!

First Belly Pic...

Well, I figured I better start documenting the belly development (apparently I am going to have to teach Trip about angles before this is all said and done). As I am pretty sure this is no longer a fluid issue and is just the fact that I am having twins and you start showing a lot earlier! Although, I must say, I still think that the fluid problem helped contributed to the early belly development. If I hadn't had the monstrous fluid belly to start with I think I would have at least had another 2 weeks to go before I go to this point but alas that is not the way it worked out. The fluid stretched me out a bit early!

As I was downloading the belly shot I realized that I hadn't saved the following picture on our computer... our first and ONLY positive pregnancy test! Wow, was that a shocker! I was definitely expecting it to come out negative like all the other ones we have taken along the way! Thank goodness it didn't! What a great Christmas present, couldn't have asked for anything better!

Work Trips...

So, 2 weeks ago Trip and I both had our national sales meetings... his in Scottsdale, AZ and mine in sunny Orlando, FL. I make that distinction because although Scottsdale is also typically thought of as sunny, that week it wasn't. They had over 4 inches of rain from Wednesday to Sunday (4 times their normal annual rainfall). So while Trip was sloshing around in the rain in his goulashes, not playing golf in temporary lakes, I was hanging out in the sun, going on walks, NAPPING and hanging out with Floyd Landis (second from the right) and Robin Benacasa (in the middle with the hat). For those who don't know, they both received BHRs and are spokes people for our company. Floyd, as most know, is a cyclist and Robin is a professional adventure racer and a San Diego firefighter (interesting profession). Just thought I would share my pic!
Poor Trip!
